 Steve Wilson General Agent Genworth Financial Agency, Inc. Mid-South Office | Steve Wilson is the General Agent for Genworth Financial Agency, Inc.’s Mid-South Office. The office is located in Johnson City, Tennessee and provides support across three states. Steve began his career as a long term care insurance specialist in 1998 servicing the Tri-Cities and Southwest Virginia area. Steve was national rising star in his first nine months with Genworth Life Insurance Company, which goes to the top new agent in the organization. In his second year, he became a member of the prestigious President’s Club, which is the top 10 agents out of 1,600 career agents nationwide. Steve remained in the top 1% in long term care sales until he became Regional Sales Manager in 2005. As a Regional Sales Manager, he was responsible for Tennessee and Alabama. In 2006, he became the General Agent responsible for Tennessee, Georgia and Northern Alabama. As a General Agent, Steve opened his own agency office in 2006, providing support to the Mid-South. Currently, there are 50 dedicated long term care insurance specialists and over 250 brokers that write business through the Mid-South Office. He is a nationally recognized expert in planning for the cost of long term care and consults regularly on the subject with individuals, organizations, businesses, financial planners, attorneys, and the local media. His articles have appeared in numerous publications nationwide. |
