Increasing your competitive edge and demystifying the mortgage process - 3 CE credits*

This three hour training session will help agents and brokers better understand the needs of their clients by developing competencies in other areas of the real estate industry, as well as further enhancing opportunities to develop business. The workshop is focused on skill building and sharing best practices around real applications.

Topics covered include the following.

This two hour session focuses on fraud for shelter and fraud for profit, and is designed for real estate professionals who wish to improve their awareness of fraud in the Canadian housing market . It will provide a better understanding of how you can play a vital role in identifying misrepresentation within the mortgage and property process by preventing fraud from continuing one property at a time. It is also designed to achieve genuine performance impact with the minimum of time away from the office. The workshop focuses on best practices around real applications.

Underwriting real-estate financing - 2 CE credits*

This two hour session is designed for professionals who wish to improve their awareness and understanding of underwriting basiscs in order to provide better council to perspective homebuyers. On completion, sales representatives will better understand how they can play a vital role in identifying prospective buyers, while maximizing their time showing homes to qualified buyers. The course also provides them with the ability to provide information to prospective buyers on the steps to achieve homeownership. The workshop focuses on best practices around real applications.

The workshop is designed for registrant professionals who wish to have a greater understanding of the importance of retaining customers and strengthen relationships through improved communication. The workshop will also help you to better understand and identify potential opportunities and assist homebuyers in the current economic climate. On completion, sales representatives are able to identify specific ways to improve their communication skills by practicing active listening and asking the right questions. The workshop focuses on skill building and sharing of best practices around real applications.
