Our partnerships include:
Alzheimer’s Association
Athletes for Hope
Homeownership Helps
SOS-Kinderdorf International
Alzheimer’s Association
In the United States, Genworth Financial and its people have supported the Alzheimer’s Association for more than a decade. The Alzheimer’s Association is the first and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer’s.
Currently, a five-year, $7.5 million strategic alliance between the Alzheimer’s Association and Genworth Financial guides the wide-ranging relationship. Genworth works to advocate about the threat Alzheimer’s disease represents for individuals and society. Through the partnership, Genworth is the national presenting sponsor and a participant in the Memory Walk®, the largest annual fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association held in nearly 500 US communities. Genworth employees and retirees are involved in local volunteer service on the Alzheimer’s Associations Chapter Boards and Committees. to find the local chapter in your country, visit Alzheimer's Disease International.
Athletes for Hope
Athletes for Hope is a charitable organization founded by successful professional athletes to educate, encourage and assist athletes in their efforts to contribute to the community and charitable causes, to increase public awareness of those efforts and to inspire others to do the same. We’re excited about the opportunity to be a Founding Partner of Athletes for Hope and combine our passion for giving back with the network to help make a difference.
Homeownership Helps
In an effort to help people achieve the dream of home ownership, the Genworth Foundation recently launched Homeownership Helps in connection with three national homeownership finance organizations—HomeFree-USA, National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC), and NeighborWorks® America—in response to the needs of existing and prospective homeowners. The program will help households looking to purchase a home and those struggling with their current mortgage.
SOS-Kinderdorf International
To provide educational opportunities for at-risk youth and to support access to basic needs through the provision of food, shelter, and affordable housing programs, Genworth has established a relationship with SOS-Kinderdorf International, the umbrella organisation of all SOS Children’s Villages associations. Genworth funds the SOS-Kinderdorf International Students Fund Programme through the Genworth Scholarship Fund, which assists in payments of university tuition, books and fees for youths from SOS Children’s Villages in Europe and internationally.
