Internships (U. S. only)

The Genworth Summer Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity for students to obtain work experience. The 12-week paid internship provides students with the valuable development and networking experience needed for a successful beginning to a professional career. Interns will work with Genworth leaders, and will be given challenging work assignments designed to stretch their abilities. Successful interns will have the opportunity to pursue employment opportunities at Genworth.

Interns will spend the summer in one of the following functional areas based on their career interest and skill set: Actuarial, Finance, Information Technology, Sales, Operations, Public Relations or Marketing.

Mentoring and Networking
Interns are assigned a "buddy" who helps them assimilate to the Genworth environment and culture. There are other networking and social events throughout the course of the internship, including business and professional development sessions, community service events and other recreational activities.

Relocation and Housing (Richmond, VA only)
Interns living 50 miles or more from our Richmond location are eligible for relocation and housing assistance. The relocation stipend varies in amount and is based on the number of miles of your move. Additionally, we will assist you in finding a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom furnished or unfurnished apartment (your choice) in Richmond and other interns to be your roommate(s).
