| B | You want the Medicare Part A hospital deductible paid; otherwise this plan offers the same benefits as Plan A. Client will need this benefit if s/he is admitted to a hospital. Medicare Part A deductible must be paid each benefit period. |
| C | This plan is the same as Plan B, but covers the Part B deductible and provides co-insurance for days 21-100 in a skilled facility. It also provides coverage for emergency medical care outside of the U.S., as Medicare does not cover this. You may want to recommend this benefit if your client travels outside of the U.S. |
| D | This plan has basically the same coverage as Plan C, but does not pay the Part B deductible. It adds coverage for up to eight weeks of At-Home Recovery after skilled nursing care is no longer needed (up to $1600 per year). |
| E | This plan is identical to Plan D except a Preventive Care Benefit (up to $120 per year) is included instead of the At Home Recovery Benefit. |
| F | Plan F is similar to Plan C, but it also provides Medicare Part B Excess Charge coverage at 100%. You may want to consider this benefit if the doctor does not accept assignment of benefits, or if your client has to stay in the hospital and can’t control whether his/her doctors accept assignment. |
F-High Deductible | Plan F is similar to Plan C, but it also provides Medicare Part B Excess Charge coverage at 100%.
