Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS)
During Genworth Volunteers Week, Genworth Volunteers in Phoenix held an in-kind donation drive for Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS). Employees donated personal hygiene products, clothing and bedding, as well as contributed a financial donation to benefit 50 homeless individuals. The Genworth Volunteers in Phoenix were so moved by the volunteer effort that several members returned to CASS the next day. The project coordinator said, “[This project] definitely fostered a spirit of volunteerism for those who were able to see firsthand how we can make a positive impact in our community.”
