Big challenges don’t deter Genworth. They simply inspire a big response. Alzheimer’s disease is no different. Genworth supports the Alzheimer’s Association through a multifaceted approach to battle this progressive, incurable and ultimately fatal brain disorder. Our decade-long support began as individualized, grassroots engagement in partnership with local Alzheimer’s Association chapters throughout the United States. It has since blossomed into
a $7.5 million alliance that provides various outlets for Genworth Volunteers, including the Memory Walk® where everyone’s on the MOVE to end Alzheimer’s.
Genworth Children’s Advantage Classic
In our headquarters community of Richmond, Virginia, thousands of youth are positively impacted by our annual Genworth Children’s Advantage Classic. In 2007, co-hosts Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf welcomed music legend James Taylor to this charitable event. Together with Genworth, more than $600,000 was raised in one night! Combined with the previous two years of proceeds, more than $1.5 million was generated for deserving charities.
