During the next four years, Genworth will commit $1 million to SOS-Kinderdorf International to help support youth across Europe. Through Genworth’s “Think It Possible” scholarship program, children residing in one of the SOS European Children’s Villages will now be able to achieve the dream of going to a postsecondary university.
Kilo Operation
Employees in Madrid, Spain coordinated “Kilo Operation,” a food-drive that benefited organizations supported by Caritas, a non-governmental organization that fights poverty, exclusion, intolerance and discrimination. Associates collected 197 kilograms of non-perishable food, enough for over 1,000 meals, that was distributed to different social canteens in which the homeless eat everyday.
