For Non-Profits

The Genworth Foundation makes a direct investment in the community by helping to provide nonprofits with the funding and organizational support they need.

Due to the large volume of requests, the Genworth Foundation is unable to grant every proposal. Qualification considerations include geographic location, synergy with Genworth areas of giving focus and involvement of Genworth associates.

Matching gifts

The Genworth Foundation helps increase the giving power of Genworth employees and retirees by matching donations to schools, colleges and universities, as well as approved social service and other community-based organizations. All organizations must confirm compliance with program criteria to access the Genworth Matching Gifts system and participate in the program. By law, Genworth can only match gifts to organizations based in the United States.

Volunteer grant

To demonstrate our appreciation to Genworth employees, we have developed the Genworth Volunteer Grants Program, which provides funding to eligible community organizations and schools where Genworth associates are actively volunteering. This is Genworth’s way of thanking our employees for reaching out, giving back and helping make their communities even better places to live. Strengthen organizations

Skills-based volunteering

Genworth believes one of the best ways to help a nonprofit is through taking the business skills and expertise of our Genworth employees to help organizations in our communities succeed. Through Skills-Based Volunteering, our employees can help charity organizations by offering technical skills for activities such as creating a budget or financial plan, developing a marketing campaign or facilitating strategic planning.
